Sylas is 5 months old!

I cannot believe it. My baby is five whole months old. Only one month away from being HALF a year old! Unreal. We are seeing more and more of his personality every day. He is such a happy baby. Very observant, has to be able to see whats going on, especially what his big brother is up to and thinks he's the bee's knees. Still laughs histarically while being changed, so we think he must be uber ticklist like his momma. He loves his jumparoo, watching cartoons with Bubba, and just about the only think we've found that makes him vere from his delightful disposition, is baths. He hates them and creams bloody murder the entire time. Hopefully this is just a phase, I'd hoped hed be a little water baby like Cashy, and even I was when I was a baby. But besides that, he's a pretty fantastic little dude. I could spend hours snuggling and making goo-goo eyes at eachother, and I miss him every second Im away from him. I never thought my heart was capable of loving anything as much as I love Cash, but boy was I wrong. And how could I not, I mean look at him...

Right?!

Anyway, at his appointment last week he weighed in at a whopping 19 pounds and 25.5 inches long!!

See...

 Im happy to report that he's healthy as a horse!

Sadly, he did have to get 3 shots, but he took them like a little man and only cried for a second.

And lastly, I'll leave you with these. Its such a rarity to be able to capture these two together in a photo, especially a good one, so I couldnt be happier with these.

Promises

It’s the end of the month again and I cant help but notice what a sorry excuse for a blogger Ive been. I have SO much rad stuff to do in my head, I just lack the disipline (and time not being a slave to two babies). So again, Im going to make a promise to be a better blogger. Mostly I think I need to stop doing so much planning about blogging and just WRITE. Whether its important or not, write about it. My goal is to blog every/every other day, or at least 3 times a week. Im also going to promise to make this blah blog a little more asthetically pleasing. Im such a noob at all this, but I promise yall, I’ll do my very best. Tonight for example Ive got an (extremely) image heavy post planned with some photos we took of the boys last week. Theyre pretty fantastic, so Im excited to share.  So I’ll leave you with that, and hope that someone somewhere is getting something from this. If not, that’s cool too. I started this blog as a way to document and look back someday on this point in our lives, our growing boys, and the things that mattered to me at 26.… Theres more to come, promise!

Dislikes: cleaning the toilet, liars, fakes, copycats, scorpions, scary movies, green beans, donuts, bad grammer, bigots, broken plans, being broke, traffic, and the dark.

Daddy

Likes: gaming, beer, zombies, horror movies, comics, his truck, guns, tattoos, assassin movies, MST2K, working on cars, cheesy jokes, wrestling with Cash, anime, anything Playsyation, wings, beer pong, loud music, American Honey, all things German, WWII, pool, classic cars, and kissin' on Mama, or course :)
Dislikes: misbehaving boys, grocery shopping, cooter movies, kitties pooping outside the box, leftovers, foods that are mixed, country music, U2, and being in the sun without sunscreen.

Cash Liam - Age, 2.5

Likes: Yo Gabba Gabba, chocolate milk, exploring outside, the park, Grandpa's Ranch, being loud, his cousins, Ozzy, anything chocolate, Sesame Street, Curious George, dancing, MST2K, wrestling with Daddy, kissing Mama, his room, his brothers room, older kids, hiding his toys, putting things in order, baths and counting.
Dislikes: weird (to him) foods, getting his hair washed, when mama cleans up his toys, when people that come over leave, being told what to do, or what not to do, and babies.

Sylas Max - Age, 3 months

Likes: Mama, being held, feeding time, making goo goo eyes at Mama, cooing, the kitties, his brother, being changed, binkies, chewing on his hands, daddy, sitting up, looking around, and spooning his puppy.
Dislikes: when his binky comes out, and when he can't see Mama.

Ozzy

Likes: treats, chasing and picking fights with Wizard, lounging against the wall or in window sills, playing with Cash, loving on Mama and Daddy, chasing things under rugs that aren't there, and looking out the window
Dislikes: smoke, and when Wizard doesn't play with him.

Wizard

Likes: sitting pretty, laying in Mamas spot on the bed, being brushed, going outside, treats, compliments on his mustache, being pet on his terms, cuddling with Mama at night, sleeping on Sylas' changing table, and being left alone.
Dislikes: loudness, being chased and provoked by Ozzy, when Cash gets in his face, being pet without his permission, over petting, and his hair getting tangled.
